This incident resulted in the temporary closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 car park.

An additional two individuals are now in custody in connection with a robbery at Heathrow Airport where over twenty individuals were injured by what is thought to be an irritant spray, as stated by law enforcement.

A man, 24, was arrested in the Lambeth area for suspected robbery and assault and a 23-year-old woman was arrested for suspected conspiring to commit a robbery. Both individuals remain in custody, authorities confirmed.

These detentions come after a probe into an attack at the multi-storey car park at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Before the attack, a pair of female travelers were robbed of their luggage after getting out of a parking garage elevator.

A three-year-old girl was among the injured during the incident. Five people went to hospital for treatment and were later released.

Police arrested a man in his thirties for suspected theft and assault close to the scene. He was subsequently released under investigation as the investigation proceeds.

Police were alerted at about 8:10 in the morning GMT following reports of a number of people injured by a noxious substance believed to be pepper spray.

The assault - which authorities stated was isolated and not considered terrorism - caused train delays and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 parking facility briefly.
